The Winnipeg Jets concluded their first road trip of the season and returned home to Bell MTS Place to close out a successful week on Saturday night.
The Jets arrived in Vancouver late Monday, where they enjoyed Tuesday off on Canada's west coast. Dustin Byfuglien and Matt Hendricks took advantage of their day off and headed out to the water to enjoy some of BC's finest fishing. Catching a near ten foot long sturgeon in the Fraser River, Buff and Hendy were smiling cheek to cheek.

On Wednesday, the team was back on the ice, where they took to the University of British Columbia's Father Bauer Arena for an afternoon practice.

Thursday's game against the Vancouver Canucks marked the end of a three-game road trip and Winnipeg's second win of the season as they notched a 4-2 victory. It was a homecoming for Jets forward and Vancouver native Nic Petan as he hosted a few of his friends at the game, many of which were representing the Jets in No. 19 Petan jerseys.
