Checking in with our good boy Radar!

Radar is currently undergoing his training to become a guide dog for the visually impaired, and is working on keeping his focus and not getting distracted by various toys, treats, noises or other dogs.

Tweet from @NYIslanders: New update from Radars training with @GuideDogFdn! 🐕🐾After Radar passes successfully without being distracted by the other dog, his instructor marks the behavior with a click and rewards him with a piece of kibble. Good job Radar! 👏 pic.twitter.com/3VujQ3riiD

He's also gotten really good at walking in a harness and stopping at curbs.

Tweet from @NYIslanders: A look into Radars @GuideDogFdn training! 🙌 Hes learning to walk in harness and stop at curbs. All of these skills will help prepare him to become a guide dog for someone who is blind or visually impaired. Hes making us so proud! pic.twitter.com/1vNxXfWJKU

Keep up the good work Radar!
