The National Hockey League announced today that goaltender Robin Lehner has been named the third star of the week, for the period ending Sunday, Jan. 6.
Lehner, 27, posted a 3-0-0 record with a .935 SV% and a 1.99 GAA in three games. Lehner's three wins led all NHL goaltenders.

The Gothenburg, Sweden native is currently riding a seven-game win streak, the longest of his nine-year NHL career. Over the last 10 games, Lehner has allowed just 13 goals and posted a 7-1-2 record with a 1.34 GAA and .952 save percentage.
Lehner's 2.18 GAA is second-best in the NHL and his .927 SV% is third in the league among qualifying goaltenders (at least 10 games played). Lehner has a 11-6-3 record through 21 games this season with two shutouts.
