Pulock-Cropped

Ryan Pulock joined the New York Islanders morning skate on Thursday, ahead of the team's game against the LA Kings.
The defenseman isn't ready to return to game action yet, per Head Coach Barry Trotz, but it's an encouraging sign. No timeline was provided.
"It's really the player's decision and he'll know. He'll know how comfortable he feels, where his conditioning is," Trotz said of Pulock. "I will have an observation, but really it'll end up being a player's decision, 'I feel ready to go' and then it's in my court. I'm not there yet."

Pulock has been out with a lower-body injury since Nov. 15, missing the last 23 games. Pulock had two assists in 12 games this season.
Jean-Gabriel Pageau said it was a boost to see Pulock participate in the team's morning skate.
"He's a big part of this team and a great guy to be around," Pageau said. "Just seeing him skate with us today after all of the hard work he's put in day in and day out to come back, it's big and everyone was happy to see him and had a smile on their face."
