HORVAT HANDLING WORKLOAD AFTER OLYMPICS

Head Coach Patrick Roy mentioned some potential load management for Bo Horvat, who is coming off of earning a silver medal at the Winter Olympic Games, but he was on the ice for morning skate on Saturday. Roy had a positive assessment of how the center played in his first game back after the tournament.

“I thought he was really good coming off such a big stage event,” Roy said. “It was nice to see him play the way he played. Solid 200-foot game, that’s who he is, always winning big faceoffs. I mean, his ice time has increased a lot from the tournament to last game. He’s an important player, he's a great leader on our team.”
