Vegas Golden Knights Announce Plans For Nevada Reading Week

VEGAS (February 11, 2022) - The Vegas Golden Knights announced today, February 11, that members of the organization, including broadcasters and members of the VGK Cast, will take part in Nevada Reading Week in partnership with SilverSummit Healthplan at Clark County School District schools during the week of February 28. Reading Week has been celebrated for over 30 years in the state of Nevada.

Teachers will have the opportunity to nominate their pre-K through fifth grade class or school by using this

to request a visit from a member of the Golden Knights. Teachers can specify their preference for a virtual visit or in-person visit as part of the process. Nominations should include creative reasons why a specific class or school should be selected.
The nomination period will open at 10 a.m. PT on February 14 and close at 5 p.m. PT on February 18. If chosen, teachers will be notified during the week of February 21 to organize details of the visits that occur from February 28 until March 4.
