The Vegas Golden Knights picked up their first shootout win of the season on Oct. 17 when they picked up the dramatic victory against the Ottawa Senators at T-Mobile Arena.

Jonathan Marchessault's winning goal in the shootout capped off the win in Mark Stone's first game against the Senators since being acquired by Vegas at the 2019 trade deadline.

Marchessault's Shootout Clincher
In 2018-19, Marchessault scored on a penalty shot in overtime to beat Ottawa. This is different, but not really. His first shootout-deciding goal of his career was the difference maker as The Fortress erupted.

Stone's reactions to things are social media gold. Naturally, he was someone to keep your eyes on during the shootout. This is where we'd put the crying laughing emoji if we could.

Fleury Being Fleury
Like, what can't this guy do? Marc-Andre Fleury ruined Chris Tierney's day with this pokecheck.

He also stared down shooters without a blocker. To repeat, he played the most important position in sports without a vital piece of equipment.

Nick Holden's First of the Year
So often do we see Nick Holden blocking shots, clearing players out of Fleury's crease and making opposing players regret picking up the puck along the boards. When Holden scores, it's a party. When he scores a power-play goal, it's really time to celebrate!
