LAST TIME OUT
Vegas saw its three-game win streak snapped in a 4-2 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday night at T-Mobile Arena. Brett Howden and Shea Theodore found the back of the net for the Golden Knights, but two third-period goals from the Hurricanes helped them seal the win.

KEYS TO THE GAME
Next Man Up: With injuries and run-ins with COVID-19 sidelining players left and right, the Golden Knights will need to rely on healthy players and call-ups to get the job done against Detroit.
Expect Lots of Shots: Vegas averages 34.5 shots-against per game which is the most in the NHL. Detroit sits just behind the Golden Knights in that category with 34.2 shots-against per game. Both teams will be looking to capitalize on any open space given to them in the offensive zone.
