A VEGAS VICTORY WOULD…
- Mark the 242nd win in franchise history
- Give the Golden Knights a 9-11-1 record against the Avalanche all-time
KEYS TO THE GAME
Defense: The Golden Knights and Avalanche both give up about the same number of goals per game. Vegas gives up 2.82 on average, while Colorado gives up 2.83 on average. It's important Vegas tightens up the defensive zone in hopes to let up less goals than Colorado.
Road warriors: Vegas still has the best away record in the NHL despite going 0-2 on their last road trip. They should continue to secure as many points as possible during away games, especially since the month of January will consist of mostly home games for Vegas.
