Marc-Andre Fleury posted the 59th shutout of his career to lead the Vegas Golden Knights (27-20-7) to a 3-0 win against the Nashville Predators (24-20-7) on Saturday night at Bridgestone Arena.
HOW IT WENT DOWN
After a scoreless, penalty-laden first period, Chandler Stephenson broke in alone on Pekka Rinne and snuck a shot over his blocker to give Vegas a 1-0 lead. With the clock bleeding down into the final 10 minutes, Nicolas Roy potted his third goal of the season to extend the Golden Knights' edge to 2-0. An empty-net tally for Reilly Smith was the finishing touch on the 3-0 win for Vegas.

TURNING POINT
Nashville struggled to get pucks to the net all game but created pressure with a power play in the final four minutes of the game. The Predators created a frenzy in front of the Vegas net, but Fleury and the penalty-killers kept Nashville from getting back into the game.
STAT OF THE KNIGHT
With the win, Fleury tied Henrik Lundqvist for fifth all-time in wins by an NHL goaltender (459). Lundqvist had passed Fleury with 459 wins earlier Saturday with a 1-0 win against the Detroit Red Wings.
