Marc-Andre Fleury made 26 saves to lead the Vegas Golden Knights to a narrow 2-1 victory against the Chicago Blackhawks in Game 3 of their Stanley Cup Playoffs First Round series. Vegas has a 3-0 lead in the series.

HOW IT WENT DOWN
Early in the first period, Mark Stone fed William Karlsson for a shorthanded break and Karlsson roofed a backhand shot over the shoulder of Corey Crawford to give the Golden Knights a 1-0 lead. Patrick Brown netted his first playoff goal in the middle frame to give Vegas a 2-0 edge through 40 minutes. Olli Maatta snuck a shot through Marc-Andre Fleury early in the third to get Chicago on the board, but Fleury locked it down late in the period to power Vegas to the 2-1 victory.

TOP PERFORMERS
William Karlsson: Karlsson's first goal of the series opened the scoring for Vegas.

Patrick Brown:In his second game as a Golden Knight between the regular season and playoffs, Brown scored for the second time in a Vegas uniform.

Marc-Andre Fleury: In his first start of the series, Fleury made 26 saves on 27 shots for the victory.

THE SERIES SO FAR
Vegas skated to a 4-1 victory in the opening game of the series as Reilly Smith put up a team-high three points (2G, 1A) to help his team to a 1-0 series lead. In Game 2, Smith scored in overtime as the Golden Knights took a 2-0 lead in the series with a 4-3 win. Karlsson and Brown combined to provide the Golden Knights with all the offense they needed to help Fleury lead Vegas to a 2-1 win and 3-0 series lead.

STAT OF THE KNIGHT
With his 80th career postseason victory, Fleury tied Ken Dryden for sixth all-time on the playoff victory list.
