GAUDREAU, USA WIN BRONZE

Johnny Gaudreau and the USA captured bronze the 2018 IIHF World Championship, downing Canada 4-1 on Sunday.
Gaudreau, who put two shots on net in 17:54 of ice time, ended the tournament with one goal and nine points in 10 games. In his career, he has nine goals and 30 points in 26 games at the World Championship.
Bill Peters and Canada finish fourth at the tournament. In the group play round, the Canadians were third in Group B with 15 points: four regulation wins, one overtime win, one regulation loss, and one overtime loss.
