Great Park Community Meeting to be Held Monday

Honda Center will serve as host to a special community meeting on Monday, March 27 at 6:30 p.m. to provide updates and solicit input about the still-to-be-completed segments of the Orange County Great Park and Great Park Ice and Sports Complex. The Orange County Great Park will soon become the nation's largest parkland project, consisting of 688 acres.

City staff will be making a special presentation including video elements, participant surveys and Q&A opportunities. Area maps and group format discussion will make the evening a fun opportunity to affirm what is planned and imagine what is to come at the Great Park and world-class Ice and Sports Complex.
The Ducks, H&S Ventures, Irvine Ice Foundation and the City of Irvine
officially broke ground last month
on a new state-of-the-art public skating facility at the Orange County Great Park that will open in June 2018. At 280,000 square feet, it will be the largest in California and one of the largest in the U.S. It will include three NHL-standard ice rinks and one Olympic-sized, as well as a 2,500 seat arena.
