The Ducks have reassigned center Michael Sgarbossa and left wing Ondrej Kase to the San Diego Gulls, Anaheim's primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Sgarbossa, 24 (7/25/92), earned two assists (0-2=2) in six games with the Ducks this season. Acquired from Colorado on Mar. 2, 2015, Sgarbossa has collected 0-3=3 points with 14 penalty minutes (PIM) in 16 career NHL games with the Ducks and Avalanche. The 6-0, 188-pound forward began the season in San Diego, collecting one goal (1-0=1) in two games with the Gulls.
Kase, 20 (11/8/95), made his NHL debut with Anaheim on Nov. 2 vs. Pittsburgh and picked up his first career NHL point (assist) in a 5-1 victory over the Arizona Coyotes on Nov. 4. Selected by Anaheim in the seventh round (205th overall) of the 2014 NHL Draft, Kase has recorded 10-8=18 points with eight PIM in 31 career AHL games with San Diego. The 6-0, 180-pound forward has also appeared in nine career Calder Cup Playoff games, earning 1-3=4 points with the Gulls.
