Dostal

At the age of 23, Lukas Dostal (pronounced (LOO-kahsh dohs-TAL) has emerged as a standout goalie for the Ducks challenging for the No. 1 spot. The native of Brno, Czech Republic went 5-2-0 with a 3.15 goals-against average and .910 save percentage in his first seven games of the 2023-24 season and was named the NHL Rookie of the Month in October.

Dostal, selected in the 3rd round (85th overall) by Anaheim in the 2018 NHL Draft, first appeared with Anaheim in 2021-22. He made 33 saves in a 4-3 shootout victory against Detroit at Honda Center on Jan. 9, 2022, setting a Ducks record for most saves by a goalie in his NHL debut.
