When asked about last season's 13-goal, 44-point performance in 66 games, Nikita Gusev noted that he wasn't entirely happy with how it turned out, particularly early on in the campaign.
"At the start (after the first) 20 games, not great," Gusev said in his self-assessment. "But after I knew what I was doing I played much better."
