On March 26, 1992, Devils fans saw Martin Brodeur take the ice for his first NHL game. Not only did he get his first start at home in New Jersey against the Boston Bruins, but he turned that start into a win. At the time, it was a rookie trying to solidify a spot on the roster, but little did everyone know how important that game would be.

Brodeur's thoughts during that special moment:

"It was a dream come true to play. It was also a dream come true to win my first NHL game in front of the Devils fans."
