Heading into their game against Anaheim in the home opener tomorrow, the Devils hope to put it all together and earn their first win of the season. Head coach John Hynes knows it won't happen without consistent effort to aggressively pursue the puck.
"When we compete hard on the puck, we're a very good team. We're not a team that can be light on the puck because we don't play with it enough and we're not built like that. We need to make sure we have it and if you look at our preseason games when we were hard and competitive and we had the puck a lot, we were a good offensive team and played a good territory game. When we were light on the puck, it wasn't good."

Michael Cammalleri was my guest on
today's edition
of Devils All-Access on Facebook Live We learned why his hat game is so strong, who's the surprise challenger for Team DJ, who paid the bill in their first unofficial team dinner on their recent road trip and why having five rookies on the team is a great thing. Be sure to check it out!
If you haven't gotten your tickets yet to tomorrow's home opener, a limited number remain, so scoop yours up and come on down to The Rock and represent #OneJersey. Fan Fest starts at 3:30 p.m. on Championship Plaza with the Red Carpet Arrivals starting at 4 p.m. A little birdie also told me to be in my seat by 6:45 p.m. to catch the entire pregame presentation, so I'm passing that on to you as well.
Hope to see you there!
