It will be the first of 81 games that MSG Networks will deliver exclusively to Devils fans, in addition to two of the team's preseason games. MSG Networks' Devils game telecasts start with a preseason contest on Thursday, September 29 at 7:00 p.m. on MSG+ when the team takes on the Rangers from Madison Square Garden.
Devils great and three-time Stanley Cup Champion Ken Daneyko joins play-by-play announcer Steve Cangialosi in the broadcast booth again this year as the in-game analyst and two-time Stanley Cup Champion John MacLean returns as studio analyst for home games. Cangialosi and Deb Placey both return to the Devils broadcast team for their sixth seasons as play-by-play announcer, and host and reporter respectively, and Stan Fischler joins the coverage for select home games.
Devils game telecasts, presented by RWJ Barnabas Health, will be preceded by the 30-minute "Holy Name Medical Center Devils Game Night" pregame show and immediately followed by the "Devils Postgame Show Presented by JAG Physical Therapy."
