Hello from sunny Fort Lauderdale, FL!
Jack Hughes and the rest of the NHL All-Stars have arrived today ahead of a jam packed weekend of All-Star festivities. But before Hughes did the lap around the media circuit, he met up with Learn to Play participant and All-Star attendee Tanisha to give her a gift and a hug.

MEDIA DAY INTERVIEWS:

On Being an All-Star:
"I'm really happy to be here. I represent the Devils and I represent myself as well. It's going to be a lot of fun and I'm happy to be here … It should be a lot of fun, the 3-ON-3 tournament should be a lot of fun too."
On Being Named the NHL's First-Star of the Month in January:
"Sometimes when you're rolling, you're rolling. It's a pretty big month for me, a lot of opportunities and pucks are going in for me. It was a really good month for our team and a really big month for me personally."
On Watching Hockey for Fun and Watching his Brothers:
"I love watching hockey. I got my brothers playing all the time so I'm always watching Michigan or Vancouver. There's other teams I like watching too. So you just snap on the TV and have a game on so sometimes it's serious but it's more as a fan watching it and enjoying it."

Brady Tkachuk:

On Hughes' Success with the Devils:
"The level he's taken as a player has dramatically helped the Devils as well. He's the heartbeat of their team. It's been fun to watch him, see what he's doing this year. Of course playing against him it's all business but he's made that team a whole lot better."

Clayton Keller:

On Hughes and his success:
"He's just such an unbelievable player. I played with him at the World Championships a couple years ago when he was 17, 18. Such a great player, great guy, loves to have fun and it's great to see him have such great success this year."
On Playing the Other Young Americans in the NHL:
"It's great to see this guys and chat with them. We've spent time together throughout the years when we were a lot younger, it's nice to still be able to talk to those guys and catchup and it's a great group to be a part of."

Troy Terry:
On Hughes' Shot and Scoring Success:
"It's just his release. The way that he can use his stick and his flex. He can snap it with not much time and it's a lot heavier and harder than you think he would be able to shoot the puck. So I think it catches people off-guard. I've seen him score a bunch this year where he shoots in times that you wouldn't expect a player to shoot. I think he catches goalies off-guard and I think he's highly intelligent and knows how to use it."
On Hughes and Seeing Him at All-Star Weekend:
"As a hockey player, (Hughes is) someone I've really grown to just enjoy watching when I can. I know he's from a great family and a great person. He's someone I'm excited to be around this week and get the chance to sit and talk with him."
