After a record-breaking season in 2022-23, the New Jersey Devils have put the National Hockey League on notice. The team has arrived and they are Must-See-TV.

The League's national broadcast rightsholders appear to agree too, after it was announced today that the Devils will be showcased exclusively on 13 national broadcast games for the 2023-24 season, which is the maximum allowable games for a single franchise. Last season the Devils were on national broadcasts for 12 games.

This season some of the Devils marquee matchups will be available either on ESPN, ESPN+, Hulu, ABC, or TNT, starting with the first game of the year when the Devils host the Detroit Red Wings to open their new season on Oct. 12. Welcome back the New Jersey Devils as they appear on ESPN+ and Hulu, which also has a new start time of 7:30 p.m.

When Connor McDavid and his Edmonton Oilers roll into Prudential Center on Dec. 21, 2023, the broadcast can be found on ESPN+ and Hulu, with a puck drop moved to 7:30 p.m.

It will also be a national broadcast when the Devils travel to Carolina for the first time to face off against the team that eliminated them from the postseason last season. That marquee matchup will be on Jan. 25, 2024, on ESPN+ and Hulu at 7:30 p.m.

To be the best you've got to beat the best and that is what the Devils will try to do on a nationally televised game on March 17, 2024, when New Jersey visits the reigning Stanley Cup Champions, the Vegas Golden Knights, which will be broadcast on TNT.

Another national game will showcase the Devils visiting the Toronto Maple Leafs, the lone national game on their schedule where New Jersey is playing in Canada. The March 26 matchup against the Leafs will be on ESPN+ and Hulu with an adjusted 7:30 p.m. start.

And what would a national schedule for the Devils be without a premium Devils/Rangers rivalry game. The final meeting between the two teams this coming regular season will be broadcast on TNT on April 3, 2024, at 7:30 p.m from Madison Square Garden.

The games on Dec. 13 against Boston, Jan. 3, 2024, at Washington, and Feb. 25, 2024, against Tampa Bay will be national broadcasts but also available on MSG Networks.
