Devils Continue to Build Hockey Organization | RELEASE

Newark, NJ -The New Jersey Devils today officially announced a number of promotions and new hires affecting scouting, athlete care, analytics and team operations. The announcements were made by Devils' Executive Vice President/General Manager Tom Fitzgerald.
- Scott Litwack has been promoted to Director, Hockey Operations/Assistant General Manager, Utica Comets.Litwack has expanded his management of the team's cap and transactions to include working with New Jersey Assistant General Manager Dan MacKinnon to manage the hockey operations for the Utica Comets American Hockey League team. - Nick Blackmanhas been promoted to Senior Manager, Team Operations/Hockey Communications where he will help serve as a day-to-day contact for the players, coaches, management and locker room staff to coordinate availability, scheduling and events for the Hockey Operations Department. - Caela McLoughlin has been promoted to Manager, Player, Family & Alumni Initiatives where she will contribute to family onboarding, player community endeavors, alumni programming, and PR efforts. - Craig Lewishasjoined theorganization as Software Developer where he will work on projects and programming within the Analytics Department. - Al Santilli has joined the organization as Head of Free Agent Scouting/Recruitment. Santilli previously won two Stanley Cups, working ten years with the Pittsburgh Penguins scouting department as an Amateur, Pro and Global Crossover Scout. - Sergei Nemchinov has joined the amateur scouting staff as a European Scout. The former forward played 11 NHL seasons with the Devils, NY Rangers, Vancouver Canucks, and the NY Islanders and was a member of New Jersey's 2000 Stanley Cup Championship team. - Anders Nilssonjoins the organization as European Goalie Scout. Nilsson played seven NHL seasons with the NY Islanders, Edmonton, St. Louis, Buffalo, Vancouver, and Ottawa, posting a 59-74-15 record, 3.06 GAA and .907 save% in 161 career NHL games. - Michael Sdao has joined the organization as an Amateur Scout after previously being an Assistant Coach with the Lincoln Stars (USHL). - Ian Greenwald was promoted to Video Coach and Lucas Hurtt was named Video Coordinator. Both joined the video staff last season, Greenwald had previously spent two seasons with Binghamton (AHL) as video coach and Hurtt was in his first season in professional hockey. - J.T. Podellwas promoted to Head Athletic Trainer after previously serving as Assistant Athletic Trainer. - Mike Coynejoins in the role ofPhysical Therapist/Assistant Athletic Trainer.
