Who do the Ottawa 67's think they are? The Alabama of the hockey draft?
As Devils fans already know. Ottawa has been cranking out draft picks lately. New Jersey's prospect pool is stocked full of them.
At the very top of the 2020 NHL Draft are two more names to add to the growing list. Marco Rossi and Jack Quinn are ranked sixth and seventh respectively on NHL Central Scouting's final ranking of North American skaters. And they'll likely go very close together at the top of the first round.
It's been a fun time playing together and building a relationship, and pretty soon enough they'll be rival young NHL players.
"He's a great player," Quinn said of Rossi. "I think everyone knows that. So when I got the chance to be out there with him, it was definitely a benefit and I tried to make the most of it. He was a great passer so I'd try to get open and he definitely set me up for a lot of goals. And yeah, it was just great to have him to push me. He was a great guy to battle with."
