Cory Schneider spent most of his offseason here in Jersey to train and condition with his staff to work every day on getting better for the upcoming season and now, he feels he's in the best shape he's been in a long time.
"I think physically, conditioning, I feel I'm in the best shape I've been in a long time. It's encouraging, testing today when great and I feel a lot better than I did last year," said Schneider.

With the first preseason game just a few days away, Schneider is ready to put last season behind him and focus on the now.
"Now the grind begins of getting on the ice and having practices and carrying that into the game ad just executing, stopping the puck and having fun. I'm hoping that without having to think too much about the other stuff that I can just go and enjoy the game and do what I love doing and play as best as I can."
