Canucks reassign Chaput to Comets

...the forward appeared in three games with Vancouver

Vancouver, B.C. - Vancouver Canucks General Manager Jim Benning announced today that the club has reassigned forward Michael Chaput to the AHL Utica Comets.

Chaput, 25, has appeared in three games with Vancouver and in 20 games with Utica (8-7-15). He is tied for the Comets lead in power-play goals (5) and ranks second in goals and third in points. The 6-2, 204-pound native of Ile Bizard, Quebec has appeared in 129 NHL career games and collected 17 points (6-11-17).
