Fan favourites return for 2000s night

Vancouver, B.C. -- The Vancouver Canucks 50th season celebrations continue Friday, March 6th with 2000s era night vs the Colorado Avalanche.

The Canucks will wear their navy and maroon Orca jerseys during warmups, and fans will re-live some of their favourite memories of the decade that featured the West Coast Express, Jovo, Ohlie and Sami on the blueline, the reign of Lu, the debut of Burrows, Bieksa and Kesler and a quadruple overtime playoff thriller that seemed like it would never end.
Canucks fans are strongly encouraged to be seated by 6:45 pm for the special pre-game ceremony, featuring legendary 2000s Canucks alumni. Fans will also be treated throughout the game to 2000s music, special videos, 2000s pop culture and a live performance by Lady Gaga tribute singer Dani Vidot.

2000s NIGHT HIGHLIGHTS, PRESENTED BY WOLFBLASS:

6:00 - Doors open at Rogers Arena.
6:30 - Warm-ups begin.
6:45 - Pre-Game Show, featuring a live performance by Lady Gaga tribute singer Dani Vidot.
7:00 - Pre-Game Ceremony. Legendary 2000s Canucks alumni will take to the ice to participate in a special pre-game ceremony that fans won't want to miss.
