Here are the players who hit the ice:
During his pregame press conference, interim head coach Martin St-Louis confirmed a couple of lineup changes.
Paul Byron and Jake Evans draw back into the lineup after recovering from their respective upper-body injuries, while Mathieu Perreault and Michael Pezzetta are healthy scratches.
To make room for Byron on the roster, the Canadiens reassigned defenseman Corey Schueneman to the AHL's Laval Rocket.

Byron: "We can catch some teams by surprise"
This marks Byron's first appearance since February 23 when he went down versus Buffalo.
Watching the last four games from afar hasn't been easy, of course, but the speedy forward is pleased to see the group continuing to enjoy success under St-Louis' leadership.
"We're playing a much more aggressive game, which is leading to turnovers and more puck possession. I can't say enough about playing with confidence. It's a different game and you're a different player when you have it. You can see a lot of guys are getting it back in their games. They're starting to feel good about themselves, trusting their instincts and playing real hockey. When all those things happen, it's a lot of fun," shared Byron. "Teams kind of look at our roster every night, look at where we are in the standings, and I think we can catch some teams by surprise. We have a great team, a great skating team, and it really plays to our strength when we can play that aggressive, uptempo game."

The 12-year veteran, who made his season debut on January 30 after recovering from hip surgery last summer, is eager to help the Habs close the lengthy trek through Western Canada in style.
If St-Louis' troops defeat Bruce Boudreau and company, it would mark their eighth victory in the last nine games.
"When you can finish a trip like this with a win, it does a lot for the team. These trips can get long, but I think we're all enjoying the way we're playing right now," said Byron. "We're starting to have a lot of fun again. It's definitely translating to the game and really paying off for us."

St-Louis on Weber: "The career he had, he was a leader"
Captain Shea Weber has been spending some quality time with his teammates in his home province this week.
The 36-year-old defenseman, who remains on long-term injured reserve, watched this morning's workout.
Byron was asked about being reunited with the seven-time All-Star.
"It's good to see him. I played with him for a few years. It's good to see a friend," mentioned Byron. "My son Brysen] and his son were very close. It was good to see Beckette, and pass along some words from my son to him."

St-Louis, meanwhile, reminisced about playing alongside and against the towering blueliner.
"Shea's a pro. The career he had, he was a leader. I played with him twice on Team Canada. He was fun to have on your team, but not as fun to see on the other side of the ice. He was a tough player, both physically and with his shot. He had a presence," noted St-Louis. "He also had a presence on Team Canada in the locker room. When you played against him, he had a big presence."
