MONTREAL – The Canadiens pulled off a third-period comeback thanks to two unanswered goals by Cole Caufield on the way to a 4-2 win in Buffalo on Saturday.

Juraj Slafkovsky opened the scoring in the first period, while Oliver Kapanen sealed the win with a late empty-net goal.

Jakub Dobes stood tall in the crease, stopping 36 of 38 shots on goal to secure his third consecutive win.
