The Canadiens reassigned forward Michael McCarron to the St. John's IceCaps in the AHL on Monday.

The towering forward, a first-round draft pick from 2013, played 15 games with the big club this season, registering one goal and three assists.
Earlier this season, the American registered 12 points (4G-8A) through 21 games in the AHL before being called up by the Canadiens in December.
