Final reminder: Export your Habs NFTs by December 8
The Canadiens were recently notified by the developers at DropShop that they will discontinue offering their NFT services to external clients. This means the Canadiens DropShop platform will be closing on December 8.
Owners of Canadiens digital collectibles will continue to be able to list, trade or sell their NFTs on open marketplaces such as OpenSea by following a few simple steps. The NFTs you own will remain yours by transferring them to an external wallet now.
After December 8, you will be able to access your NFTs via your external wallet instead of on the DropShop platform. Follow the
step-by-step guide
to keep your NFTs secure. Note that this is a required action that must be completed by December 8. For more details, please see the
updated FAQ
. If you are experiencing an issue not covered by the FAQ, please open a support ticket by clicking on "Contact Support" at the bottom of the page or send an email to [email protected].
In August 2021, the Canadiens launched their first-ever non-fungible token (NFTs) in the form of digital art collectibles that celebrate the team's run to the 2021 Stanley Cup Final. Since then, the team launched the Canadiens DropShop Marketplace and expanded their offering to some of the world's largest external marketplaces like OpenSea.
