Canadiens recall Otto Leskinen from Laval

The Finnish defenseman has one goal and 12 points in 24 games with the Rocket this season

BROSSARD - The Canadiens announced on Wednesday afternoon that defenseman Otto Leskinen has been recalled from the AHL's Laval Rocket.

The 22-year-old Finn has one goal, 12 points and 39 penalty minutes in 24 games with Joel Bouchard's contingent this season.
Leskinen is the top point-getter on the team among defenseman. He also leads the Rocket with 11 assists.
The Canadiens agreed to terms on a two-year, entry-level contract with Leskinen in May following a standout 2018-19 campaign in the Finnish Elite League with KalPa Kuopio.
The former undrafted free agent has no NHL experience to date.
