BROSSARD – The Montreal Canadiens announced on Tuesday that 57 players will participate in the team’s 2026 training camp. The camp opens on Wednesday, September 16 at the CN Sports Complex in Brossard with medical examinations. It runs until Saturday, September 26 in preparation for the regular season opener on September 29 against the Maple Leafs in Toronto. 

The camp roster consists of 31 forwards, 19 defensemen and seven goaltenders. Forty-three players are under NHL contracts, while 14 players have AHL contracts.

Head coach Martin St-Louis and his coaching staff comprising of Derek Lalonde, Stéphane Robidas and Marco Marciano, as well as Adam Nicholas and Roger Grillo, will lead practices, games, and evaluations during camp. The Laval Rocket coaching staff led by head coach Daniel Jacob and his coaching personnel made up of Martin Laperrière, Ilya Ejov and David Urquhart will also be on-site.
