Blues get No. 14 pick in NHL Draft Lottery

ST. LOUIS - The St. Louis Blues ended up with the No. 14 overall pick at Saturday's NHL Draft Lottery.
The pick will be transferred to the Philadelphia Flyers, who acquired it from the Blues at last year's NHL Draft in the deal that brought Brayden Schenn to St. Louis. The Blues could have kept the pick if it would have been in the Top 10 and instead sent their first-round pick in 2019 to Philadelphia.

The Blues had a five percent chance to end up with the first, second or third overall pick at the lottery, but that didn't pan out.
St. Louis did acquire a first-round pick from Winnipeg in the trade deadline deal that sent Paul Stastny to the Jets. The Blues won't know where that pick will land until the Jets' postseason is concluded.
The 2018 NHL Draft will be held at American Airlines Center in Dallas. Round 1 will be held on Friday, June 22 and Rounds 2-7 will take place on Saturday, June 23.
