The Columbus Blue Jackets are turning up the volume during the 2026-27 season with the launch of Jackets Jukebox, a four-game series that combines Blue Jackets hockey with music-inspired themes, live performances and unique fan experiences throughout Nationwide Arena. The four nights are scheduled for Oct. 17, Nov. 25, Feb. 27 and March 13.
The series debuts on Saturday, Oct. 17, when the Blue Jackets host the New York Rangers for "I Want My CBJ," a nostalgic tribute to the iconic "I Want My MTV" era of the 1980s as MTV celebrates its 45th anniversary in 2026. Fans can enjoy live performances from a live 90s tribute band, which will perform on the arena concourse before puck drop, during intermissions and following the game.
The night will also feature themed photo opportunities, exclusive merchandise, themed concessions, interactive activations and additional surprises celebrating one of music's most memorable decades.
Following the inaugural Jackets Jukebox, fans can look forward to:
- Nov. 25 vs. New Jersey Devils – Jackets Jukebox: Hockey-Tonk
- Feb. 27 vs. New York Islanders – Jackets Jukebox: Rock the Rink
- March 13 vs. San Jose Sharks – Jackets Jukebox: For Those About to Yacht
Each Jackets Jukebox night will feature its own distinct theme, atmosphere and entertainment elements designed to create a unique game-day experience for fans of all ages. Additional details on activations, merchandise, and entertainment for each event will be announced throughout the season.
