Rantanen to Represent Team Finland at 2023 IIHF World Championship

Mikko Rantanen will represent Finland at the 2023 IIHF World Championship which will take place in Finland and Latvia

While Colorado Avalanche hockey won't resume until October, Mikko Rantanen is hitting the ice this summer as the winger will represent Team Finland at the 2023 IIHF World Championship. The tournament will be held on May 12-28 and will be co-hosted by Finland and Latvia.

Rantanen has previously played in the Men's World Championships three times (2016, 2017, 2018). Also in 2016, Rantanen captained Team Finland in the 2016 IIHF World Junior Ice Hockey Championship to a 4-3 overtime victory over Team Russia.
