The Colorado Avalanche held Day 1 of the team's annual Development Camp at Family Sports Ice Complex.

Day 1 featured three smaller group on-ice sessions, which focused primarily on skating drills. The skating portion of the day ended with a group practice with all participants. Day 1 ended with afternoon media availability, an off-ice workout, and lunch.
