Gabriel Landeskog San Jose Sharks 2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs Playoffs Postseason Round 2 Game7

SAN JOSE, Calif.--The Colorado Avalanche will not make any changes to its lineup tonight when it begins its 12th and final back-to-back set of the season at the San Jose Sharks.
Goaltender Pavel Francouz will be between the pipes and the Avs will use the same skaters as it did in its last game on Friday at the Vancouver Canucks, with defenseman Nikita Zadorov being Colorado's healthy scratch.

Francouz ranks among the NHL's top 10 in both save percentage (.924) and goals-against average (2.39) and posted a career-high six-game winning streak from Feb. 19-29, allowing two goals or less in each game.
The Avs have swept each of their last three back-to-backs, the first time Colorado has swept three straight since October 2009. In fact, the Avalanche has swept more than half (six) of its 11 back-to-backs this year and is 8-3-0 in the first contest of these sets and 6-4-1 in the second.
It is the second outing of a three-game West Coast road trip for the Avs, who opened the journey with a 6-3 loss at the Canucks. Colorado concludes the journey on Monday at the Los Angeles Kings.
Tonight's contest marks the Avalanche's only visit to Northern California this year and is the second of three matchups between the Avs and Sharks. Colorado won 4-0 in the first meeting behind a 27-save shutout from Philipp Grubauer on Jan. 16 in Denver.
Below is the Avalanche's projected lineup based on how the forward combinations and defensive pairings were at the start of the team's last game in Vancouver. They are subject to change.
