About the Stars
The Stars (2-1-1) lost 4-3 in overtime to the Los Angeles Kings at American Airlines Center Thursday. The Stars were outshot 39-20 in the game but overcame 1-0, 2-1 and 3-2 deficits to get the game to overtime and pick up one point.
"[The Kings] played a good game. They came here to compete and win a game. We didn't man up and play to their level or higher," said Stars captain Jamie Benn. "I don't think we deserved to win that game and it showed on the scoreboard."
Forwards Patrick Sharp and Patrick Eaves were injured in Thursday's game. The Stars placed Sharp (concussion-like symptoms) on injured reserve Friday. Eaves is questionable for Saturday with a lower body injury.
