'Road To The NHL Winter Classic' to chronicle Stars, Predators

NEW YORK -- "Road To The NHL Winter Classic™,"the limited series that will chronicle the Dallas Stars and Nashville Predators as they prepare to meet outdoors in the 2020 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic® on Jan. 1 at Cotton Bowl® Stadium in Dallas, will premiere on Saturday, Dec. 21, the National Hockey League (NHL®) announced today.
The three-week, limited series will air on NBCSN and NHL Network in the U.S. and on SN1 in Canada.

The first episode will air on Saturday, Dec. 21, at 6 p.m. ET on SN1 in Canada. Fans in the U.S. will be able to watch the premiere episode on Monday, Dec. 23, at 10:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN immediately following the New York Rangers-Philadelphia Flyers game. The first two episodes will be 30 minutes each, with a special one-hour finale set for Monday, Jan. 6, on NBCSN and SN1.
The critically-acclaimed series will be produced by Ross Greenburg Productions in association with NHL Original Productions. The executive producers on the series are 56-time Sports Emmy® Award-winning producer Ross Greenburg, who pioneered the sports documentary series genre, and NHL Chief Content Officer Steve Mayer. Emmy and Tony Award-nominated actor Bill Camp ("Joker") will narrate the series.
Full episodes will air on NHL Network™ and will be available for viewing on NHL.com, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram. The series also will air outside North America via international broadcast partners.
