It took Macklin Celebrini only 66 games to net his first 3-goal game in the NHL. On April 9 at Minnesota, Celebrini put three goals past Marc-André Fleury.

Celebrini was the first rookie to score a hat trick this season!

His first goal of the night tied the game at two in the second period and the NHL made sure to highlight the age gap between the goal scorer and the goalie. 😂

Macklin also had a special guest in the building. After the Sharks granted his wish last week in San Jose, Macklin invited Luke Schumann to the Sharks game in Minnesota where Schumann and his family live. Luke was LOVING the goals from his friend.

Celebrini picked up his second of the night midway through the second period off a behind-the-net feed from Will Smith.

At 10:02 of the third period, Mack had his hat trick!

Celebrini was the first No. 1 overall pick to score a hat trick in his rookie season since Auston Matthews in 2016.

Fellow Bay Area superstar, George Kittle, took note of the rookie's night.

With his three goals and two assists in the game, Celebrini broke the Sharks rookie points record. He now has 62 points in 66 games.

Hats off to you, Mack! 🧢
