After taking down Chicago at home in a 2-0 effort, the Senators have now extended their win streak to four games and wil look to make it five as they look to avenge the loss Winnipeg dealt them on home ice a couple months ago. Key to the success of the Senators over this four-game win streak has been simply phenomenal goaltending. Across four wins Joonas Korpisalo and Anton Forsberg have combined for a 0.937 save percentage while only allowing 1.75 goals per game including a shut out against Chicago. Lights out would be an understatement.

While the goaltending has anchored their success it has coincided with an offensive onslaught as well. Over their four wins the Senators have averaged 4.5 goals and have gotten a boost from their special teams play as well. After a season that has seen the Senators rank in the bottom 10 on the power play they got a massive boost against the Oilers converting three of their four man advantages with Drake Batherson directly involved in all three goals. Additionally, the Senators have stopped nine of the 11 power plays they have faced for a 0.818% penalty kill, well above their 0.735% average on the season. On top of that they got a shorthanded goal courtesy of Claude Giroux in their last outing.

Look for them to lean on the key strengths that have led them to four straight as they look to draw this season series even on the road.

The Jets have experienced some mild road bumps here in the last stretch of the season, losing six of their last ten games. That said this is still the fourth best team in the Western Conference and certainly plays as such on any given night. As if the Jets didn't have enough weapons at their disposal with Mark Scheifele, Kyle Connor, Josh Morrissey, and Tyler Toffoli, head coach Rick Bowness confirmed that the team would be getting Gabriel Vilardi back in the line-up tomorrow night.

While they have plenty of ways to hurt you on offence, the true strength of this Jets team has proven to be their defensive structure, anchored by likely Vezina Trophy candidate, Connor Hellebuyck. The Jets have allowed just 2.47 goals per game this season, the second lowest in the league behind the Florida Panthers. If the Senators want a chance tomorrow they will have to test Hellebuyck early and often and keep grinding in close to the net and work the rebounds.
