Skinner 3rd Jersey Mediawall 01

The wait is finally over. The Buffalo Sabres today unveiled their new third jersey.
The team will wear the black and red uniforms, inspired by the primary uniforms worn by the club from 1996 until 2006, for 12 home games during the 2022-23 season.

Other select Black and Red merchandise is now on sale at Shop One Buffalo.
In August, the team revealed the redesigned white bison head logo (often referred to as the "goathead") that will appear on the jersey crest.
The new crest is reminiscent of the original but has been updated and simplified. The shadow details, horns and outlines are all new for the 2022 design.
Along with the revised crest, the jersey numbers now include three colors instead of two and the sock striping pattern has been adjusted.
The "B Sword" logo returns as a secondary mark on the shoulder. It has also been simplified for the new jerseys.

Now, fans can see the full uniforms for the first time in person during Buffalo's game against the St. Louis Blues on November 23 at KeyBank Center. Tickets for that game are on sale now.
To commemorate the occasion, the organization will be hosting '90s Night, which will highlight the best of the decade.
Here is the complete third jersey schedule:
Prior to launching the reveal video on its social media platforms Monday morning, the team teased the announcement by live streaming goats roaming around the locker rooms of KeyBank Center.
