Vote for Eichel, Sabretooth to win NHL Fan Choice Awards

Buffalo Sabres captain Jack Eichel has received two nominations as part of the 2020 NHL Fan Choice Awards.

Eichel is a finalist in the "Best Celly" and "Best Dressed" categories. You can also vote for Sabretooth in the "Best Mascot" category.

Click here to vote until June 1 and share your selections on social media using the hashtag #NHLFanChoice. The results will be announced June 3.

Here's a rundown of the three categories.

Best Celly

Eichel has always been one to embrace the rivalry with the Toronto Maple Leafs, with 14 goals and 23 points in 17 career meetings with Buffalo's neighbors to the north.

He's willing to mix it up with the fans, too. He followed a power-play goal on Feb. 16 by appearing to gesture "sit down" toward a couple of Maple Leafs fans in the front row at KeyBank Center.

Eichel wore a grin while speaking to the media about the celebration after the game.

"You guys can make your own assumptions on it," he said.

Best Dressed

Eichel has a bit of everything in his wardrobe, from red camouflage to the corduroy three-piece he wore to the All-Star Game.
