New York Rangers General Manager Jeff Gorton announced today that the team has recalled forward Vinni Lettieri from the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Lettieri, 23, skated in four games with the Wolf Pack after he was assigned to Hartford on Nov. 18, and he registered five points (three goals, two assists) and 17 shots on goal, along with two penalty minutes in the four contests. He tallied the game-winning goal in overtime on Nov. 21 vs. Providence, registered two goals and recorded the game-deciding goal in the shootout on Nov. 23 at Bridgeport, and notched two assists on Nov. 24 vs. Bridgeport. Lettieri has played in 68 career AHL games over parts of three seasons (2016-17 - 2018-19), all with Hartford, and has recorded 42 points (26 goals, 16 assists) in his AHL career.
