GAME DAY
The Rangers play their 13th game of the 2019-20 season and begin a back-to-back set tonight, November 6, against the Detroit Red Wings in an Original Six matchup at Madison Square Garden. Including tonight's game, the Blueshirts will play three of their next four games at MSG. New York has won two of its last three games (2-1-0 record) and has earned at least one point in four of its last six games (3-2-1 record).

The Rangers lead the NHL in wins in November since 2005-06 (112; 112-58-11 record in November over the span). In addition, the Blueshirts have posted a 39-16-2 record in November since 2015-16 (their 39 wins in November since 2015-16 are the most in the NHL) and earned at least nine wins in November in each of the last four seasons.

Seven players who are 21 years old or younger have skated for the Rangers in each of the last three games (Lias Andersson, Filip Chytil, Adam Fox, Libor Hajek, Brett Howden, Kaapo Kakko, and Ryan Lindgren). According to NHL Stats and Information, prior to their game on Oct. 29 vs. Tampa Bay, the Rangers had only played two games in franchise history with seven different players 21 years old or younger (Nov. 21, 1953 at Toronto and Dec. 16, 1976 at Buffalo). Five players 21 years old or younger (Andersson, Fox, Hajek, Howden, and Kakko) have played in all of the Rangers' first 12 games this season. Henrik Lundqvist has made 991 career appearances (regular-season and playoffs combined) as a Ranger. He is nine appearances away from becoming the sixth player to appear in at least 1,000 career regular-season and playoff games with the Rangers in franchise history (along with Brian Leetch, Harry Howell, Rod Gilbert, Ron Greschner, and Walt Tkaczuk).
THE FINNISHER
Kaapo Kakko posted his first career multi-point game in the NHL on Nov. 4 vs. Ottawa (one goal, one assist). According to NHL Stats and Information, he is the third 18-year-old who has posted a multi-point game in Rangers history (Joe Bell - once in 1942-43; Manny Malhotra - twice in 1998-99). Kakko has recorded three goals this season, which is the second-most by an 18-year-old in franchise history (Malhotra - eight).
STATE OF THE ART-EMI
Artemi Panarin enters the contest with a five-game point streak (two goals, four assists). He leads the Rangers in goals (six) and points (12) this season, and he has recorded a point in nine of 12 games in 2019-20. Panarin has also been on the ice for 21 of the Rangers' 37 goals this season. He has recorded 20 points (12 goals, eight assists) in 14 career games at MSG.
STROME SURGE
Ryan Strome posted a career-high six-game point streak from Oct. 20 vs. Vancouver to Nov. 2 at Nashville (four goals, five assists). He has registered a multi-point game in three of the last five contests. Strome has also led the Rangers in ice time in two of the last three games.
SPECIAL TEAMS
The Rangers have either outscored their opponent on special teams or tied their opponent in special teams scoring in six of 12 games this season and have earned at least one point in five of those six contests (4-1-1 record).
