In the 2021 Thanksgiving Showdown, the Rangers rallied from down 1-0 and 2-1 to pull out the victory against Boston at TD Garden. Ryan Strome scored in the final seconds of the first period to tie the game at 1-1 and then on the back of a 19-shot second period, the Rangers headed into the third tied at 2-2. Thanks to three third period goals, the Rangers left Boston with a 5-2 win.
