Join us for our annual Hispanic Music Heritage Night on Saturday, Oct. 3, when the Nashville Predators face the Dallas Stars. The celebration begins with a plaza party starting at 5 p.m., featuring the Preds Mercado, live music and entertainment, partner activations and more. Interested in supporting local Hispanic organizations? Each ticket package includes a donation back to a local charity benefiting the Hispanic community.

Behind the Design

Meet the Artist: Esperanza Merritt

Andrés Bustamante is an award winning multidisciplinary artist, sculptor, and socially-engaged artist born in Cali, Colombia, raised in Nashville, TN.

Bustamante studied at Watkins College of Art in Nashville, TN followed by an experimental creative practice. His immigrant experience at a young age led him to existential questions about reality, and the abstract mystery of life, embracing the abstraction in the human experience and ephemeral emotion.

Bustamante lives by the conviction that creativity is healing for humanity. He is passionate about community empowerment viahis curatorial vision, Persona Contemporary. To learn more about his mission and collect art visit: andresbustm.com

Selected solo exhibitions include “Reflexion” at Watkins College of Art in 2022. He has been awarded the Artist-To-Artist award at ArtPrize 2024 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. As well as having works in the permanent collection of MOCAN (Museum of Contemporary Art Nashville).
