Last week, the NHL announced the launch of free remote access to their online Future Goals program. Future Goals includes an interactive hockey-themed STEM curriculum course for middle and elementary-school students (Hockey Scholar) and a program that provides elementary-school students the tools they need to make healthy eating and lifestyle choices (Healthier Me). You can now sign up for both programs from the comfort of your home, completely free of charge.
The Nashville Predators want to encourage you and your classmates to get involved by participating in NHL Future Goals online learning modules. To make both programs even more fun, we're giving away free prizes to students who complete these programs now through May 15th!
To get started, visit www.futuregoals.nhl.com\predators and click the "Parents" button. Select your state from the dropdown, find your child's school, and fill out the student information. From there you will have access to both Hockey Scholar and Healthier me courses.
Ford Ice Center is giving away FREE birthday party packages to ten students who share their program completion certificates with us on social media! To enter, snap a picture of your child with their program completion certificate and share it on Facebook or Twitter. Be sure to tag @PredsNHL and @FordIceCenter, and use the hashtag #PredsFutureGoals. Include your child's name and which program your child is a part of (a Youth Hockey program, the Scott Hamilton Skating Academy, or the Nashville Predators Kids Club) and that's it! We'll announce two winners on Predators social media every Friday, starting April 17th.
They will also be giving away a FREE field trip to two schools with the highest participation in the Future Goals program! Be sure to encourage your classmates to sign up and complete the online modules to increase your school's chance of winning. Both contests will end on Friday, May 15th.
