Celebrate Juneteenth in Nashville!

Juneteenth, a blend of the words June and nineteenth, marks the end to slavery in the United States and is considered the longest running African American holiday in the United States. In celebration of such an important moment in our nation's history, the Nashville Predators would like to share details regarding various Juneteenth events taking place across Middle Tennessee.

Black on Buchanan - June 14

Join the Nashville Predators at the sixth annual Black on Buchanan: A Juneteenth Celebration! The day will be filled with Black joy, Black entrepreneurship empowerment, and culture. We’ll line the street of Buchanan with over 75 vendors and community partners who all come out to celebrate freedom.

Juneteenth615 @ Ft. Negley - June 19

Come join us June 19 from 5-9:30 p.m. for Juneteenth615 at Fort Negley Park! Juneteenth615 is a special commemoration of Juneteenth, a celebration of the emancipation of enslaved people in the United States. Enjoy music, food, games, family-friendly activities and Nashville’s only Juneteenth fireworks display. Don't miss out on this chance to come together as a community and honor this important day.
