Buffalo Sabres defenseman Zach Bogosian today announced plans for the Zach Bogosian Kancer Jam, a KanJam tournament that will take place on Saturday, March 10 on the floor at KeyBank Center following the Sabres' 1 p.m. game against the Vegas Golden Knights. Proceeds from the event will benefit Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.

The event will feature 64 teams, each consisting of two participants. Each team will raise funds leading up to the tournament by setting up a page at www.crowdrise.com/bogoskancerjam. Participants must raise at least $1,000 by donating their own money or by sending their team's webpage to friends and family members, who can make tax-deductible donations on the team's behalf.
Each fundraising team is guaranteed to be paired with a Sabres player or celebrity and will compete in at least three games against other teams featuring Sabres personalities. The top fundraisers for the event will get to select their Sabres teammate and will win other great prizes.
In addition to a spot in the tournament, each fundraising team will receive an autographed Zach Bogosian Kancer Jam set, custom credentials to the tournament and two gift bags composed of Kancer Jam and Sabres merchandise. All participants will also get exclusive access to a pre-tournament hospitality area, which will include complimentary food and drink and a chance to meet the Sabres personalities taking part in the event.
The Kancer Jam will be the second event hosted by the Bogo Bunch, following last year's "Casino for a Cause" event, which raised more than $50,000 for the Buffalo Wellness Center's Juicer Fund and Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.
